CNC Associates was founded in 1991 by Cathy
Clarke.
Cathy Clarke
Founder and President
Prior to founding CNC Associates, Ms. Clarke was a
Senior Account Executive with PR firm, McGlinchey & Paul.
Before that she was a Senior Industry Analyst with the Yankee
Group. She has almost 20
years experience in telecommunications and IT markets.
As a senior
industry analyst with the Yankee Group, Ms. Clarke regularly researched
and wrote market reports and newsletters for their Communications
Planning Service and managed several extensive consulting projects for
U.S. and foreign clients. She
also managed accounts and research inquiry for several Fortune 500 user
and vendor planning service clients. She had a 100% renewal rate with
client assignments and helped to significantly expand the client base.
Ms. Clarke has maintained longstanding
relationships with many key business and trade press journalists over
the years and continues to cultivate these relationships to the benefit
of her clients.
She has developed a very strong track record,
averaging a minimum of 6 to 10 significant placements for her clients
per month in targeted media outlets, including the top tier business and
trade press. She has also
arranged for many high profile keynote and other speaking spots at
leading trade shows including Supercomm, Internet Telephony, VON, ComNet,
Networld+Interop, CeBIT and others.
Ms. Clarke has written articles for numerous
publications, including Communications News, Telecommunications, Xchange, Cellular & Mobile
International, Telecommunications, and VoiceXML

Ms. Clarke holds a B.A. Cum Laude from Mount
Holyoke College and a Master of International Affairs/Telecommunications
Policy from Columbia University. She
was a research assistant at the Columbia Institute for Tele-Information
(CITI) at the Columbia University Business School.
